Valentine's Day Joy

 

I had the loveliest Valentine's Day! For many years prior Valentine's Day has been hard because it really makes me miss my mom. I can't believe it's been 16 Valentine's Days without her. She used to always make it so special for me and buy me chocolate covered strawberries every year. Even though I was 18, I was still her baby and her Valentine. ❤️

This is my first year with my amazing new fiancee', Miranda. I was so excited to celebrate with her! We are so in love. Everything is so shiny and new and lovely when it's your 'firsts'. She got me this LED light up frame that has "Coffee" by Sylvan Esso, a song that reminds me of falling in love with her. 

I made her these frames with a love note and photos of us and our favorite flowers. We spent the day together and then made dinner together, ribs, brussel sprouts, and potatoes. So yummy! 

And guess what? She surprised me by MAKING me chocolate covered strawberries, since she knew that was special to me because of my mom. She's such a sweetheart. She really made me feel so special, loved, and amazing. ❤️❤️❤️

In other news, we are starting to paint and redo our room which I will talk more about on my patreon, but here's the before paint (green) & after paint (Purple,which is called 'magic wand', how perfect is that?).

 

It's been so fun to re-do our room, I can't wait to share the before and after pics!
